SantaMatch is now FREE for a limited time

We just made SantaMatch 100% FREE with an upgrade to an approved (premium) membership being an option. Just a little background: SantaMatch started in 2007 as a free introduction site. However, it became soon clear that the free feature attracted all the wrong people,  enabled abuses and deteriorated the quality of our member base. As a result of member demand (mostly females) and feedback we initiated a small “profile approval fee” which was meant to filter out those who were not serious or were looking for NSA sex, etc. That fee cost next to nothing but even that turned out to be a major impediment to the growth of the site. People simply don’t want to pay for online dating, even if a small payment is for the best of everyone.

So now we are back at 100% free, with a click of the facebook like button (which of course doesn’t cost you anything and gets you lots of good karma), which will enable us to compensate for the lack of advertising money. We sure hope that this will generate some social buzz and will result in a snowball effect. After all, SantaMatch is still the best and most efficient concept in online dating and if it can be had for free, what more can you ask for?

The Approved Member (Premium Membership) is now an optional one-time payment which gives members many premium features, the list of which is listed on the site. We will add even more premium features because it is out hope that all members will choose to pay the one time affordable fee as to enable us to advertise to a larger audience.
